Hello! 

I'm Mrs. Hunt, and I'm so thankful to be part of the Ridgway community! I am the school's Title 1 Reading Teacher and Gifted and Talented Coordinator. My goal is to provide students with the literacy instruction and enrichment they need to thrive in the classroom. I was a classroom teacher for eight years before moving into this role. I am excited to provide targeted small group and one-on-one instruction to students to help them become strong readers and writers. 

I am a Colorado native - originally from the South Denver area. My husband and I moved to Ridgway last summer. We enjoy hiking, camping, Jeeping, snowshoeing, and just being in the San Juans as much as we can. We have a pug named Reggie who loves to join us on all of our adventures.
