Sports Update from Shawnn Row, Athletic Director: 

Congrats to the MS Girls Basketball team for finishing their season on a high note with a couple wins against Telluride and Ouray.  For being maybe the smallest and definitely youngest team in the league, they played really hard all year and grew in leaps and bounds.  Be proud of yourselves girls and keep up the hard work!  Please get your jerseys turned into me this week.  Thanks!

If you want to play HS Girls Soccer, please let myself and Coach Peterson know so we can finalize numbers and get you on the email list.  The first practice is next Monday, February 27.  Please make sure physicals are up to date and turned into the office.

HS Track and Field has the same start date.  Please let myself or Coach Pearce know if you're interested and make sure you get paperwork from me from Ouray to turn into him.

This is what we have this week:

HS Basketball
- Ridgway is hosting districts this year.  There is a CHSAA mandated $8 entrance fee for all adults and a $5 entrance fee for all students and seniors (60+)
- Here is the final schedule for that:

Friday, February 24

2pm Girls #1 Mancos vs. #4 Telluride

4pm Boys #1 Mancos vs. #4 Dolores

6pm Girls #2 Ridgway (wear white) vs #3 Dolores

8pm Boys #2Telluride vs. #3 Ridgway (wear green)

Saturday, February 25

1pm Girls Championship

3pm Boys Championship

HS Climbing
- Saturday, 2/25 @ Broomfield, CO G1 Climbing
   * Boys compete from 12:30pm-3:30pm
   * Girls compete from 4:30pm-7:30pm
- Friday, 2/24 send off at 12pm
- Since the girls are competing until 7:30pm Saturday, we will return Sunday afternoon and stay the night Saturday
