As a reminder, I ask every parent whose child participates in any RSS extracurricular to sign-up and help out with concessions only twice a year. Basketball is now in season and our busiest months of the year. Please use this link to do that. If your child played volleyball or soccer, now is the time those parents should help out.
HS Basketball starts November 13. Please get your up-to-date physical, Athletic Handbook, and fee into the office or myself ASAP.
MS Girls Basketball will start on December 4. During December we'll have 2-3 practices a week to balance a busy month. Games and a full practice weeks will start in January. I'll send a more detailed email in the coming weeks to those students and parents who will be involved with that.
Here is what we have this week:
MS Boys Basketball
- Tuesday, 11/7 hosting Telluride at 4pm
- Thursday, 11/9 @ Naturita Elementary school at 4:30pm. Bus leaves at 2:30
- Friday, 11/10 hosting Mancos at 4pm
HS Climbing
- Saturday, 11/11 @ Grand Valley Climbing in GJ. Times will be determined by Wednesday morning and your coaches will let you know.
Knowledge Bowl
- Monday, 11/6 @ Ouray at 4pm. Coach Spearman will drive the short bus for both HS and MS teams right when school ends. Meet in the cafeteria.
