We had a successful weekend of basketball across all of our programs. The varsity teams both beat Dolores while the MS girls both beat Dove Creek in their first games of the season. Leo S. took first place at the Montrose bouldering event while the team finished second! Great job everybody!
HS Basketball
- Tuesday, 1/16 @ Nucla. Girls at 5:30pm, boys at 7pm. Bus leaves at 3pm.
* This is different from the schedule because we don't have a JV.
- Saturday, 1/20 @ Dove Creek. Girls at 11am, boys at 12:30pm. Bus leaves at 7:30am.
MS Girls Basketball
- Tuesday, 1/16 hosting Ouray. B at 4pm, A at 5:15pm, C at 6:30
* C team will do an intrasquad scrimmage
- Friday, 1/19 @ Mancos. C at 4pm, followed by B then A.
* Bus leaves at 1pm
* This will be a late night. Hopefully, the bus is back around 9:30-10pm.
Coach Volstad will have girls let their parents know a more accurate time
after the games are over.
Knowledge Bowl
- The Telluride Meet got moved back a week to 1/29. That will be a MS and HS meet. The regional meet will still be on Saturday 1/27 in Durango for just the HS team. This will be an overnight trip and they'll leave on Friday, 1/26.
