It feels like school just resumed and just like that, it's February this week! I know everybody is feeling this busy time of year but it sure does fly by. We have another busy week ahead of us so please pay attention to the below times for confirmation.
The HS Knowledge Bowl team fell just short of a regional championship this weekend in Durango. However, Coach Spearman is hoping they scored enough points to qualify for state. We should know by Monday or Tuesday of this week. If they make it to state it will be held in Greeley from March 11-13. Awesome job, team!
If you didn't get the chance to buy any athletic apparel this past week, it'll be on sale at our concessions stand from now on. Just ask when they're not too busy or let me know and we can figure something out during or after school.
Here is what we have this week:
HS Basketball
- Thursday, 2/1 @ Telluride. Girls varsity at 5pm, boys to follow.
* Bus leaves at 3pm. - Saturday, 2/3 @ Dolores. Girls varsity at 11am, boys to follow.
* Bus leaves at 8am sharp.
MS Girls Basketball
- Wednesday, 1/31 hosting Telluride at 4pm. C, B, then A
- Thursday, 2/1 hosting Nucla at 4pm. C, B, then A
HS Climbing
- Saturday, 2/3 regional comp @ Eagle Climbing + Fitness. Times TBD.
Knowledge Bowl
- Monday, 1/28 league meet @ Telluride at 3pm.
