Thank you to the RHS Basketball teams from the 90's, and other years, for putting on an Alumni game to raise money for our current athletic programs. Led by coach Steve Hill, these teams set a state record of 73 wins in a row from 1993-1996, winning two state championships during that time.
It was great to see their smiles back in RSS on Hill Court. They ran a skills clinic with our current students in the morning and then played our current high school boys. The "Will-Be's" edged the "Has Been's" in a fun 60-59 game.
Sportsmanship and camaraderie were at the forefront in this game that saw multiple generations all collaborating for a great purpose. I hope their generosity will set an example for the next group of alumni.
