Bus Expectations and Student Behavior Guidelines
Riding the bus is a privilege, and we expect all students to behave respectfully and responsibly while traveling. Coaches and teachers are responsible for supervising student behavior during trips, and we ask that students treat our bus drivers - who are valued school employees - with the same respect they give to all staff.
Please remind your student to show appreciation for the transportation services provided and to follow all bus rules. If any issues arise during a trip, we encourage open communication with our Transportation Director to help resolve concerns quickly and respectfully.
To ensure safety and respect for everyone, students are expected to follow these rules at all times:
Use quiet voices and speak kindly to others.
No profanity or inappropriate language.
Keep the bus clean - throw away all trash.
No roughhousing or physical contact.
Stay seated for the entire ride - do not switch seats.
No tobacco products - possession or use is illegal.
Keep hands, feet, and heads inside the bus.
Do not damage the bus or any of its equipment.
Never distract the driver through misbehavior.
Consequences for misbehavior will be determined by the school principal and may include:
A warning or referral
Suspension of bus privileges
School disciplinary action, including possible suspension
Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent loss of transportation privileges.
