Heidi Hanssen is the principal at Ridgway Elementary School.  Heidi earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and education at St. Olaf College and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Adams State University.  After teaching middle school for five years, Heidi became a principal.  Heidi has been an elementary principal for nineteen years in three schools in Colorado and two international schools in Europe.  Outside of school, Heidi can be found mountain biking, skiing and enjoying the beautiful San Juans.
